The incompetent wing of the Supreme Court sided with Heller. The Second Amendment declares a right of States vis-a-vis the federal government. DC is not a State.

The incompetent wing of the Supreme Court happens to be all Catholic. That's not entirely accidental. Their Catholicism doesn't make them incompetent. They were picked in the hope that it would, in a particularly Catholic way. Roe v. Wade.

They're fired. They can adhere to a higher law than the Constitution somewhere else besides the Supreme Court.

I am trying to instigate a Con-con more than I'm trying to be President, because the people can deliver more change at a Con-con than a President can by any circumstances. This proposal is really just an example, for 50 States to consider, and if I could instigate a Con-con there is no way to guarantee that some State would propose my proposal. This creates the possibility that a State could propose a watered down version of my proposal, but with me as President. If that were to happen, this is the clause I need to have to take the oath of office. I'm not going to be in a position of having to arrest GW Bush with the five fascists that put him in office still on the Court.

Late 2011

Representatives Deutch and McGovern have proposed Amendments to overturn Citizens United v. FEC. That is quite worthy, but doesn't solve the five fascists problem. Deutch asked me how you remove five Supreme Court Justices. The same way you overturn one of their decisions. By the will of the people in the person of 38 State legislatures. And actually solving the problem probably makes the Amendment more likely. 90% of the populace disapproves of Citizens United. That includes people who swear they go to the same laundromat as Elvis.
